Position Description:

The United Express Network Manager is part of the network operations team. Ensuring that all aspects of the service are running smoothly and efficiently is the responsibility of this position. In order to ensure that all business requirements are met, the Network Manager must have excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

This position requires the individual to develop, implement and maintain processes to improve the efficiency of the network while meeting customer expectations and reducing costs. Strategies to increase utilization of available capacity and reduce delays are included. The Network Manager must coordinate with other departments within United Express to make sure that all areas of the operation are functioning properly.

A minimum of five years of experience in aviation operations or a related field is what the ideal candidate for this position should have. Understanding airline operations and regulations is a must. They must demonstrate a working knowledge of computer software, such as Microsoft Office and Gantt charts, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. It’s important to have the ability to prioritize and work under pressure.

The Network Manager needs to be able to quickly assess and analyze data, anticipate potential problems, and provide solutions to ensure that the network operation runs smoothly. The individual in this role needs to be comfortable working alone or with a team and have the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
