Position Description:

Engineer.

You will join a team of engineers who are responsible for developing and improving the architecture of GPUs that power today’s cutting-edge graphics cards. You will be involved in designing the components that make up the core of modern graphics processing units, including high-end computer gaming systems, virtual reality platforms, and artificial intelligence/deep learning applications.

Ensuring that the performance of these GPUs meets and exceeds customer expectations, as well as being future-proofed and cost-effective, is your primary responsibility. You need to understand the hardware and software architecture of the platform to do this. You need to be able to identify areas where performance can be improved and any potential issues that may arise. You must have experience working with industry-standard tools.

You will work closely with other architects, software engineers, and product managers to design and develop better graphics cards. You will be expected to review existing designs and give recommendations for improvement. You will participate in customer meetings as part of your role. You may be asked to present your work at industry events.

A strong technical background in both hardware and software platforms, as well as an understanding of the latest industry trends are important for successful GPU Platform Architecture Engineers. Good communication and presentation skills are needed in order to work with others.
