Position Description:

You will be part of a company’s supply chain and production team as a Material Logistics Specialist. You will be responsible for managing the flow of materials from suppliers to the manufacturing facility and ensuring that the product is delivered according to customer specifications and timelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required for the position.

Your responsibilities will include planning and scheduling material orders, creating shipping documents, monitoring inventory levels, resolving any discrepancies between customer orders and supplier delivery, and providing reports on logistics activity. You will also be in charge of maintaining relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts for favorable pricing and terms. Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards is a must.

You should have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration. You should have previous experience in the industry. You should have experience using Microsoft excel and other software to manage data, as well as strong knowledge of the ERP/MRP systems. Communication skills are important, since you will need to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
