Position Description:

A highly sought-after position within the finance department is the Associate, Product FP&A. The individual will be responsible for driving strategic decision making related to product profitability and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and an in-depth understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Product owners, business leaders, and other stakeholders will be closely worked with by the Associate, Product FP&A to gain a clear understanding of current trends and future opportunities within the organization. The long-term financial health of the organization as well as its product portfolio will be ensured by the financial planning and analytic processes that they will drive. All matters related to product performance and profitability will be served by the Associate, Product FP&A.

Product gross margin, Churn rate, cost of goods sold, and customer lifetime value are some of the financial data points that the Associate, Product FP&A will analyze. They will use this data to make sound decisions about the product roadmap and identify potential areas for improvement. They will give senior leadership regular updates on product performance metrics.

At least two years of relevant experience in finance/analytics is required for the Associate, Product FP&A. It’s a plus if you have strong knowledge of financial systems. The successful candidate should have good problem-solving skills.
