Position Description:

A critical role for any organization that creates interactive experiences is the Sr. Technical Artist. The Senior Technical Artist is responsible for creating art assets that are used in the development of interactive experiences, while at the same time understanding how to integrate them into the product in order to create an optimal user experience. This position requires drawing, animation, 3D modeling, as well as knowledge of the technical elements of game design and production.

The Senior Technical Artist needs to have a good eye for Aesthetics, be able to interpret the creative vision of the project, and be able to deliver high quality art assets that meet the requirements of the product. They need to understand the technical limitations of various platforms and be able to adjust their workflows accordingly. They must have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate with other members of the team to ensure that all art assets are completed on time and to the desired quality.

The Senior Technical Artist will work closely with programmers, designers, and producers. They need to be able to develop solutions quickly and efficiently. They will need to provide clear documentation of their work and communicate any issues or changes to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.

This role requires a person who is both creative and technically savvy. Ensuring that an interactive experience is both visually appealing and technically sound is done by the Senior Technical Artist.
