Position Description:
The senior analyst is critical to the organization. The position will be responsible for creating, driving and executing strategies to improve sales performance. The senior analyst will work with the sales teams to identify opportunities, reduce costs and increase sales volume.
The Senior analyst will lead strategic initiatives, analyze data to understand customer needs and trends, develop market insights, evaluate competitive activity and recommend changes to maximize selling efforts. This person will provide insight into the effectiveness of the sales force, design and execute customer segment strategies, and create and own reporting on key metrics. The senior analyst will work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between marketing, product, finance and operations objectives.
Strong leadership skills, excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are what the ideal candidate should have. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience in sales strategy, operations or analytics in a corporate setting. Sales performance can be improved with proven success in developing strategies. Communication, project management and organizational skills are required.
