Position Description:

Ensuring that customers are satisfied with the level of service they receive is the responsibility of the customer service manager. A customer service manager must have excellent communication skills, be able to motivate and lead teams, and possess a strong understanding of customer service strategies.

As a customer service manager, you will oversee daily operations, provide direction to staff on delivering excellent customer service, develop processes and procedures to enhance customer service, and ensure quality control is maintained. You will be expected to be an advocate for the customer and foster a positive work environment.

The position requires someone who can think strategically and come up with innovative solutions. You will have to develop strategies to meet customer needs. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.

You will be responsible for creating customer service standards and policies, training and managing customer service associates, monitoring customer feedback and satisfaction levels, and resolving customer complaints promptly and professionally. Customer service managers must be able to communicate effectively with customers, manage difficult situations, diffuse tense conversations, and remain calm under pressure.
