Position Description:

Workload/ Staffing Analysts help organizations in their efforts to effectively manage their workforce. They help companies identify optimal staffing levels and efficiently allocate resources to meet the ever-changing demands of an organization.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing staffing models that accurately reflect the operational requirements of your organization. This includes analyzing current workforce data and trends, forecasting future demand and capacity, monitoring program performance, developing staff plans, and recommending changes as necessary. You will have to create reports and analyses to present to senior management and other stakeholders regarding staffing projections and recommendations.

Good communication, problem solving, and organizational skills are required for successful Workload/Staffing Analysts. Being able to interpret data, draw accurate conclusions, and communicate those conclusions is a must. Knowledge of HR systems, software programs, and automated scheduling systems is highly valued.

At least one year of experience in workload analysis or staffing is required for the ideal candidate. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
