Position Description:

A Travel Consultant is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to clients while advising them on the best travel and lifestyle services available. As a Travel & Lifestyle Services (TLS) expert, you will be expected to provide personalized consultation as well as recommendations and advice regarding various travel and lifestyle options. It is important that you have an in-depth knowledge of the industry and of the many different types of products and services.

You should be able to quickly understand customer needs and come up with creative solutions. A successful Travel Consultant will be able to recommend options that meet client expectations. You should be able to estimate the costs associated with the purchase.

You should have good communication skills so that you can build strong relationships with customers and vendors. It will help you to anticipate customer needs and deliver an unparalleled level of service if you can effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are required in order to handle multiple tasks at once and ensure a smooth travel experience.

As a Travel Consultant, you have to stay up to date with current trends in the industry, understand client preferences and develop strategies to exceed their expectations. You will be expected to tailor your services to the needs of your customers. You should be able to negotiate with vendors in order to get the best deals.
