Position Description:
Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all flights within an airline organization is the responsibility of a Senior Flight Service Manager. You will make sure that the flight service staff are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service. You will be in charge of all aspects of the flight service, including scheduling, crew selection, customer service, security, and risk management.
In order to effectively manage the daily operations, you will need to have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and be able to make quick decisions. In order to ensure that all flights are operated safely and efficiently, a Senior Flight Service Manager must have a comprehensive understanding of airline regulations and protocols. In addition to ensuring that all flights are operated according to standard policies and procedures, you will also be responsible for creating and enforcing new policies and procedures as needed.
Strong problem solving skills are required in order to identify potential problems before they occur and take corrective action. You will need to be able to handle difficult situations with ease, as well as effectively delegate tasks to other members of your team. In order to achieve desired goals, you must be able to work independently as well as collaborate.
